Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which purchases made on the Experts platform may be refunded. The policy applies to digital courses, live events, and other educational services purchased through the platform.

By purchasing a course, event, or service on the Experts platform, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this Refund Policy.

1. General Refund Window

Students may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase, provided the purchased content has not been substantially consumed.

Refund requests submitted after the refund window has expired may be denied unless required by applicable law.

2. Content Consumption Limits

Refund eligibility may depend on the amount of course content that has been accessed or consumed.

Refunds may be denied if the platform determines that a substantial portion of the course has already been viewed or completed. Indicators of substantial consumption may include, but are not limited to:

  • Viewing a significant portion of course lessons
  • Completing course modules or assessments
  • Receiving a certificate of completion
  • Downloading protected course materials where applicable

These limitations exist to prevent abuse of digital educational content while maintaining fairness for instructors.

3. Refunds for Live Events and Workshops

Live events, workshops, and scheduled sessions reserve instructor time and resources, so refund eligibility is tied to the event schedule in addition to the general refund window.

A refund for an event registration may be granted only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The registration was completed and paid
  • The refund request is submitted within seven (7) calendar days from the date of registration
  • The event — its first scheduled occurrence — has not yet started

No refund will be issued once the event has started or has taken place, regardless of whether the participant attended.

Approved event refunds are returned to the original payment method, and a corresponding tax credit note is issued. The registration is cancelled, and any related affiliate commission and instructor earnings are reversed.

In certain situations, the platform may offer platform credit instead of a cash refund.

4. Refund Processing Method

Approved refunds are generally issued using the original payment method used during the purchase.

In cases where the original payment method cannot be used, the platform may issue refunds in the form of platform credit or another equivalent method.

5. Refund Processing Time

Once a refund request has been approved, the platform will process the refund within approximately five (5) to ten (10) business days.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account may vary depending on the payment provider and banking institution.

6. Affiliate Commission Reversal

If a purchase associated with an affiliate referral is refunded, the corresponding affiliate commission will also be reversed.

If the commission has not yet been paid out, the amount will be removed from the affiliate's pending earnings balance. If the commission has already been paid, the platform reserves the right to deduct the amount from future affiliate payouts.

7. Instructor Earnings and Refunds

Instructor earnings generated from purchases remain in a pending state during the platform's refund window.

If a refund is issued during this period, the instructor's pending earnings associated with the transaction will be reversed.

After the refund window expires and the transaction becomes final, instructor earnings become eligible for payout according to the platform's payout schedule.

8. Payment Processing Fees

Payment processing fees charged by third-party payment providers may not be refundable. The platform reserves the right to determine how such fees are handled during refund processing.

9. Abuse Prevention

The platform reserves the right to deny refund requests if it determines that a user is abusing the refund system.

Examples of abuse may include:

  • Repeated refund requests across multiple purchases
  • Consuming substantial portions of courses before requesting refunds
  • Engaging in fraudulent or deceptive activity

In such cases, the platform may restrict refund privileges or take additional action as permitted under the Terms of Service.

10. Changes to the Refund Policy

The platform reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any updates will be published on this page.

Continued use of the platform following changes to the Refund Policy constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
