Event Publishing Policy

Event organizers must keep the event title, description, hosts, schedule, timezone, venue or online access method, seat limits, language, prerequisites, and attendee-facing price complete and accurate.

For in-person or hybrid events, venue details and access requirements must be reasonably accurate and deliverable. For online or hybrid events, meeting links, joining instructions, and required tools must be provided before the event start time and kept functional for registered attendees.

Organizers must promptly notify attendees of any cancellation, rescheduling, or other material change, and must follow the platform's refund and rescheduling rules. A material change is any change a reasonable attendee would consider significant to their decision to attend — for example a change to the event's date, start time, venue or online access method, or principal host.

Organizers must not promise licenses, employment outcomes, academic credit, accreditation, or official certification unless those claims are accurate, documented, and authorized.

Organizers must honor every valid ticket or registration sold through the platform and must not admit attendees beyond the event's published seat limits or a ticket offer's stated capacity.

Registrations, tickets, and payments for an event are handled through the platform. Organizers must not use off-platform sales or side arrangements to circumvent the platform's ticketing, pricing, or refund rules, and must not cancel or reassign a registered attendee's place except in line with those rules.

When capacity is reduced, an event is rescheduled, or demand exceeds availability, organizers must treat affected and waitlisted attendees fairly and follow the platform's refund and rescheduling rules.

Personal data about attendees collected through the platform for an event may be processed only for the following specified purposes: delivering the event the attendee registered for; verifying and supporting attendance; issuing certificates where applicable; providing attendee support and event-related communications; and keeping records that the organizer or platform is legally required to retain.

Organizers must not use attendee personal data for any other purpose. In particular, organizers must not export it off the platform, sell or disclose it to third parties, or use it for marketing, except with the attendee's separate consent or where required by law.

Attendee personal data must be kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes above or to meet applicable legal retention requirements, and must be deleted or anonymized afterwards. Attendees may exercise their rights to access, correct, or delete their personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Where an organizer, co-host, or venue is a party separate from the platform, each party's roles and responsibilities for attendee personal data — including any required data-processing terms and the basis for any transfer of data outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia — are governed by the Privacy Policy and the applicable data-processing terms.

For live-streamed or recorded events, organizers must tell attendees before the event whether the session will be recorded and how any recording will be used, and must obtain any consent required by law before capturing an attendee's image, voice, or contributions.

Organizers are responsible for complying with the laws and regulatory requirements that apply to broadcasting, streaming, or hosting live content in the places where the event takes place or is received, including any applicable licensing or notification obligations.
