Publishing Policy
Last updated: July 5, 2026
This policy sets out the shared rules that govern everything published on the Experts platform — both courses and events. It covers publishing standards, pricing and refund alignment, content integrity, and the platform's moderation safeguards.
Courses and events each carry their own specific responsibilities. For the detailed rules that apply to each, see the Course Publishing Policy and the Event Publishing Policy linked below.
Instructor and Organizer Responsibility
Instructors are responsible for ensuring that the content they publish on the platform is accurate, lawful, and consistent with professional standards applicable to their field of expertise.
Courses and events must provide genuine educational value and must not contain misleading or deceptive information.
Course and Event Publishing Requirements
Before a course or event can be published on the platform, it must meet the platform's quality and structural requirements.
These requirements may include minimum content thresholds, complete descriptions, schedule and location completeness for events, instructor or organizer profile verification, and appropriate categorization.
Pricing, Promotions, and Refund Alignment
Instructors may update course or event pricing after publication. Price changes apply only to future purchases and do not affect learners who have already enrolled.
Like structural changes, price changes are one lever of the platform's unified change cooldown: a published price can be changed only once every 7 days, and may be further limited during active promotional campaigns to prevent abuse.
Published event pricing, promotions, cancellations, rescheduling, attendee no-shows, refunds, and payout reversals are handled under the platform's event, promotion, refund, payment, and invoicing controls.
Content and Event Moderation
The platform reserves the right to review, moderate, restrict, unpublish, or remove courses, events, or related materials that violate these policies or applicable laws.
This may include material that is harmful, misleading, prohibited, unsafe, infringing, fraudulent, or associated with payment abuse.
Policy Updates
The platform may update this policy from time to time in order to improve platform integrity, maintain quality standards, and comply with regulatory requirements.
Updated terms apply to content published or re-published after the update takes effect. Content that is already live continues under the terms accepted at its most recent publication until it is next published or updated.
